原本是因為要到 http://www.briantoth.com/addressbook/ 安裝一個 plugin 的元件，居然試出台灣地區的衛星空照圖。
看過全民公敵的人對會對衛星空照雲圖很感興趣，Google 推出的 Google Maps，讓我們可以很輕易地取得地圖或是衛星空照圖、以及經緯度。
在 GPS 這樣普及的時候，我們不用再辛苦安裝圖資了，直接透過 Google Maps 加上 GPS 點位，就可以輕易定出目前位置了。

很抱歉，我把台北連結的網址拿掉了，如果有相關人士建議我拿掉這則 Blog 我也會拿掉。
因為這個 Google Maps 真是越來越可怕，我發現似乎只要是台灣地區的重要軍事地區，都會有詳細的衛星空照圖，最高機密的花蓮佳山基地等空軍機場、海軍軍港、陸軍營區，連總統府、玉山官邸、國安局的地形透過衛星圖空中鳥瞰都一覽無遺。
我之前的工作是寫一些衛星定位 GPS 相關程式、在之前又當過陸軍的軍事情報官，受訓時有學到空照圖，但是我的直覺是，當初受訓使用的衛星空照圖比 Google Maps 遜色許多許多。
另外也想要看看中橫公路被921震後的道路狀況，沒想到再繼續往花蓮看過去，真的可以清楚看到佳山基地的設施，於是真的去找了以前在彰雲地區的砲兵訓練基地，也都可以清楚看到觀測所、目標區。
為什麼會這樣？幸好 blogger.com 這個網址會被中國大陸封鎖而看不到，所以我這則 Blog 就可以放心播放。
